Pastel Splash

| Peplum: Glassons | Jeans: Lee | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Ring: Valley Girl | Watch: Diva | Sunglasses: Ray Bans | Bracelet: Forever New |

Tie-dye is officially my favourite trend this season.  I received these Lee jeans as a gift for Christmas and coincidently happened to have a peplum in my closet with a similar tinge of orange. You can recreate this fresh and balanced look with any of your tie-dyed jeans and/or tops. Just make sure that you do have a neutral colour such as the white on my Lee jeans to break the outfit up. A classic bag, statement necklace and minimal jewellery will complete your look. Adding a fedora hat will make any outfit look less formal and more casual.

I hope you enjoyed this post and please feel free to leave comments or ask questions about any pieces that you may need help styling with as I will be more than happy to help!

Horizon

| Hat: Forever New | Top/Sunglasses: Sabo Skirt | Shorts: Bardot | Shoes: Dr. Martens | Bag: Zara | Watch: Diva | Bracelets: Sancerre |

I'm obsessing over stripes this season, and this Sabo Skirt horizon top is just perfect for the Summer. There's so many things I'm looking forward to these holidays--the most obvious being Christmas! I love this time of year where the shops are full of festive decorations and the streets are aligned with twinkling lights. As for my Christmas wish list, it's growing everyday. Right now, I am absolutely loving Elin Kling's collaboration with GUESS by Marciano. You can shop the collection here!

Alice In Wonderland

| Shirt: Forever New | Jeans: Glassons | Shoes: Dr. Martens | Bag: Celine`| Ring: Diva | Sunglasses: Sabo Skirt | Bracelet: Sancerre |

I've been wanting to get a bunny since my last one ran away when I was eight, so you can imagine my excitement when I got this little treasure! Meet Harlow, only nine weeks old yet incredibly intelligent (trust me, if you saw half of the things she does you would think she was the rabbit equivalent to Einstein). She's a really photogenic bunny too, which worked out well for my blog photo shoot.

My floral jeans and chambray denim shirt seemed to tie in with the whole "Alice In  Wonderland" thing really nicely, and of course Harlow was a perfect extension of this. All she needed was a clock tied around her neck and she would make the perfect Mr.Rabbit! Maybe I'm getting to carried away now...

The Diva ring is officially a new favourite of mine, as it resembles the House of Harlow 'Starburst' ring perfectly without the hefty price tag. Love it!

Dotti Design-A-Bits

| Knit: Ksubi | Jeans, Shoes & Bag: Sportsgirl | Sunglasses: House Of Harlow 1960 |

I took these photos a few days ago when the weather was still really cold, and now I'm sitting here two days later in the sweltering heat. Amazing how quickly this bipolar weather is able to transition. These faded blue jeans are officially my new favourite. I really needed a good pair of baby blue jeans in my closet, as I only recently came to realise that I have a habit of buying jeans in a dark denim. I'm still rocking the high heel meets sports shoe trend everywhere I go and I'm quickly forgetting about all my other shoes...

One more thing before I go! Dotti is holding a competition that invites users to design their own take on a 'Festival Dress' for this upcoming season. The winner will be based on the who gets the most amount of votes as well as the approval of the panel of judges! This is a huge opportunity that could possibly allow me to see my design be made and rolled out into Dotti stores throughout Australia. I'm begging my loyal readers to please please vote for my design that is pictured below! Just click here to vote and find the design below!

To all of you that vote, thank you so much! It means a lot!

LV Delightful

 | Jeans & Blazer: Guess | Shoes: Sportsgirl | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Hat: Forever New | Sunglasses: House of Harlow 1960 |

Louis Vuitton is an all time legend for creating such luxurious and beautiful bags. I might just add here at the beginning that the bag is my mum's and not mine. This one is the medium sized one (Delightful MM), which is pretty much the perfect size for day-to-day wear. The added small pouch component was from a previous LV of my mum's that she bought many years ago and cleverly hooked it onto the gold rim of this bag for easy access to her mobile phone. This bag has definitely made my (wish) list of the VERY distant future. ;)

Pop of Orange

| Jumpsuit: Chica Booti | Scarf: Forever New | Hat: Sportsgirl | Sunglasses: House of Harlow | Watch: Diva | Bracelet: Sancerre | Shoes: Dr. Martens |

Orange has recently become one of my most favourable colours to wear. What colours we choose to wear is something that we disregard when faced with a large selection of coloured jeans, tops and accessories. I used to gravitate to whatever colour used to catch my eye without trying it on first, and then find myself disappointed afterwards. What I didn't realise was that it wasn't the item itself that didn't look right on me, it was the colour.

A colour that you will rarely ever see me in is yellow because it simply doesn't go well with my skin tone. Yellow looks great on people with tan skin without washing them out completely. However similar to yellow, orange is a subtle alternative that adds a pop of colour against my pale complexion. This jumpsuit and hat are favourite's of mine and since putting them on in this post, I noticed just how much I need to add an infusion of orange into my wardrobe.

On another note, last night was Vogue's Fashion Night Out in Sydney and from what I've seen and heard via instagram and twitter, it was a huge success! I couldn't make it to VFNO this year but there's always next year! Oh, and the MTV VMA's are on today! Red Carpet wise, Taylor Swift put her own spin on the 'white on white' trend of the moment, wearing an elegant white pantsuit by J. Mendel. Emma Watson is another favourite of mine, wearing a stunning Peter Pilotto dress that channeled a mixture of patterns and woven detailing. Both star's sense of style are a huge inspiration on me because they embody a class and elegance that has evolved over the years.
