Bergundy Rouge

This is my very first post as a Teen Vogue Fashion Click blogger and I'm so excited to see where it takes me! It is something that I have been wanting to do since I first started my fashion blog Be Outrageous earlier this year. Style is everything to me and has always been a great passion of mine. Inspirational blogs that I absolutely love are Tuula, The Blonde Salad, Fashion Toast, Gary Pepper Vintage, Sincerely Jules, Ring My Bell...the list goes on and on! If you haven't yet visited any of these blogs, do so now!

I wore this outfit the other day to university and loved the combination so much that I had to post it on my blog. Leopard scarves have always been a favourite of mine, and this one particularly interested me because of the red and blue spots on it as opposed to the usual black and beige. I have had my eye on a burgundy blazer for a long time now and managed to pick this one up half price during a limited time sale at Bardot! Everyone likes a good bargain!

Schoolyard Prep

Here I'm sporting two new purchases that I am absolutely loving right now: leather shorts by SASS and a gorgeous boyfriend blazer in burgundy from Bardot. The weather wasn't completely ideal for the shorts, so I'm thinking of getting some warm stockings to wear underneath. This outfit immediately made me think of Gossip Girl and their uber-cool prep wardrobe back in season one. If only all us girls had an endless wardrobe of designer couture, the things we would do. I would probably have 20+ outfit changes in one day! Too bad the world doesn't tend to gravitate that way ;p

So Undercover

I've been waiting for a day cold enough outside to wear this new Portmans trench that I picked up for a bargain a few months ago and have finally had the chance to wear it. Not that I like the cold, but it does give me an excuse to throw on a fancy coat so who's complaining? The Bardot dress made a lovely extension to the outfit by adding some colour to liven up the black and beige combination. As for the boots, I have to tell you that it was a handful trying to get my hands on those! I went from store to store trying to find my size and was disappointed every time I left another store empty handed. Then I tried ordering them online only to discover that they don't deliver to where I live. Despite the hassle, I finally tracked down the boots and I'm really glad that I did because their the one pair of boots that I actually liked.

University studies have really been keeping me busy and away from my blog but I'm super dedicated to my readers so I try my best to post twice a week at least!

Relaxed Style

Blazers can truly transform an average outfit into something sophisticated and formal. The pairing of the ripped boyfriend jeans and Dr Martens gave the outfit a more "relaxed" look, so I threw in some pops of colour in my accessories to make it look fun.

On another note, its MBAFW in Australia right now! Instagram is a really great thing for keeping up to date on the latest pics straight off the runway from world renowned bloggers. Some of my absolute favourites are Tuula's Jessica Stein, Fashion Toasts's Rumi Neely and Style By Kling's Elin Kling. Their style is so inspiring to me and I'm so excited that they are in Australia for MBAFW! I particularly loved Whitney Port's latest collection that she exhibited in Sydney a couple of nights ago. The floral prints and sweet pastels are a must have!

I have so many ideas for my blog as it continues to grow and expand. I am grateful for every single reader that can be inspired by my blog and for the opportunity to do something that I love and am passionate about on the side of studying my course at university.

Chic`

I am constantly thinking of new ways of how to reinvent old and new pieces in my wardrobe. I've taken an item from every blog post I have done so far as an example of how to create a whole new outfit from those staple items in your closet that you absolutely love and feel like wearing everyday. I love the mixture of baby pastels in these photos: how the pink, blue and cream all tie in together. And off course, what is an outfit without accessories? You don't need many to make a bold statement, just stack a bunch of eye-candy bangles together and add a cute necklace!

Eighteenth.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting as frequently, the assignment and exam overload is now beginning to take over and I haven't had much time to pretty much do anything but study. It was my birthday on Monday (16th April) and this is the outfit I wore to my party yesterday. The blazer that I bought from Zara is quickly beginning to become a staple item in my day to day clothing choices as it goes well paired together with nearly every outfit. I love the fact that you can put on a simple blazer such as this one and automatically look sophisticated and elegant. The Chica Booti skirt was also a recent purchase that I thought would work well with whatever the season: pair it up with a tucked in sleeveless collar shirt or tank top for summer and wear it with stockings during the colder seasons. The purple vine ring I got from Diva has been one of my favourites ever since I bought it! I can't wait to show you some other ensembles I have in mind for future blogs so make sure to follow the blog via bloglovin', twitter and instagram for updates, purchases and blog sneak peaks!

Dress To Impress

I was really excited to showcase two of my favourite items in this post: my LV bag (well worth saving up for) and the Dotti dress that I recently bought. I thought that the brown and black truly complimented each other in this outfit, and it ties together elegantly. Of course, no outfit is complete for me without a pop of colour to brighten things up! I'd love some feedback on what you think of the outfits I've styled together so far and I'm always open to suggestions of what you would like to see in future blog posts!
